Customer service is top notch. Definitely go for wheelie bins though as easier to move around and you get a lot more.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve been buying our firewood from Arden Firewood for around five years now and have always been really happy with both the service and the quality. Deliveries always turn up on time, you get a fantastic amount of wood for the money, and most importantly, the wood itself is excellent.

There’s always a lovely mix of sizes, it burns really well, and there are some fabulous chunky logs in there too, which are brilliant for putting on and letting them burn away for hours.

We highly recommend Arden Firewood.

Easy to order, delivery on time, drivers/delivery guy was polite and helpful bringing the wood to the store in wheelie bins which saved me a lot of work. I recommend using them and will reorder when I need more. Thanks to all

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I haven’t needed to buy firewood for a few years.
I thought I buy one builders bag but was talked into 3 wheely bins instead. I was kept informed as to date and time of delivery and had a confirmatory call 30 mins before drop off.
Sean dumped it where it was required, I didn’t avail of the stacking service. Wood looked well dried and hardwood throughout. All was evenly sized
Not burnt ant yet but pretty pleased.
Why only 4 stars?
Firstly I am a miser with my 5 star reviews. I’m of the opinion the standard for 5 stars is so low as you be meaningless. It should be a normal distribution around 3 stars. Secondly I’m grumpy at the difficulty in comparing sources. No objective measures like weight or volume.
My expectations have been exceeded

Our Process

All our kiln dried logs are split and stored at our facility in Over Whitacre.

In 2017 we designed and built a bespoke drying shed constructed of telegraph poles as uprights a steel roof to keep the firewood dry, concrete floor and motorway crash barriers around the sides to allow maximum airflow in and around the logs. We can store upto 500 tonnes when the shed is full.

We have a very unique way of delivering our kiln dried logs... By wheelie bin. The wheelie bins are a standard household bin 240 litres. In every bin you receive between 80 and 90 logs depending on the size of them. The logs are filled to the top every time at the yard, we then load them onto our delivery vehicle. On arrival at your property the delivery driver will establish with you where you would like your firewood logs to go.

As the logs are in bins we will not dump them on your drive we will wheel them to your store or in a garage or shed etc…. Saving you lots of time and lots of energy!! The bins are then emptied and return with the driver.

Three wheelie bins has approximately 20% extra logs than you would get in Bulk/Builders bag giving you extra value for money.
